After traveling to and working with Mano Amiga in the Yucatán for almost 10 years (it was ten years in Feb. 2007), I have decided to live in the Yucatán...specifically in Valladolid. I bought a house directly on the Parque San Juan in the historic district. I have been renovating it, as money becomes available, for the past 15 months. I'm pleased to announce that the Casa Hamaca Guesthouse (just another term for a bed and breakfast) is open for business.
At the same time, aneed2heal bodywork centers will expand my massage work to Valladolid (some of this work is a direct result of the experiences recounted in the article on this site about a massage exchange with a Mayan curandero in Yaxunah). Other directions have come about through experiences in Guatemala, in Athens, on Isla Mujeres and in New Jersey. I hope to be able to see clients in three different locations: Valladolid, Isla Mujeres and in Park Ridge, New Jersey.
I'll try to remember, from time to time, to jot some of my thoughts down on my blog and let you know what is going on with my various activities, travels and ventures. If you have read this far, please check out my blog. It covers the Yucatan, the Mayan culture (both past and present), Valladolid, natural healing, the Casa Hamaca and aNeed2Heal Bodywork Centers...plus whatever else I feel like writing about.
Namaste
